Victoria Paul is part of the upcoming BIP cast, but you wouldn’t know it from the cast photo that makes her look like a completely different person.
ABC has finally confirmed the first contestants who will hit the beach on Bachelor in Paradise, but one cast member has an issue with her official photo. Although Victoria Paul, of Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor, shared the picture on her Instagram account, she couldn’t help but poke fun at the strange filter the network had chosen. The picture barely looks like Victoria P. anymore, and ABC might want to hold off on the smoothing filter in the future.
On Peter’s season, Victoria P. seemed like an early frontrunner at first. She and The Bachelor connected when she revealed her tragic childhood, and there was definitely chemistry there. But things took a turn when drama arose between Victoria P. and fellow contestant Alayah about whether they had known each other before the show. Eventually, Peter said he couldn’t see Victoria P. as his wife and sent her home during the night portion of a group date.

After her disappointing time on The Bachelor, Victoria P. will be getting a second chance to find love, this time on Bachelor in Paradise. But her cast photo isn’t doing her any favors—mostly because she looks like a totally different person. Victoria P. shared the photo and captioned it, “what filter is this @bachelorinparadise ????” Many of her followers and fellow Bachelor Nation alum agreed that the picture is Photoshopped to the extreme, and it’s not reflective of Victoria P.’s natural beauty.
Victoria P. got a bit of a villain edit on Peter’s season, so her turn on Bachelor in Paradise could be a chance for redemption. However, she seems to already have many friends in Bachelor Nation who feel that her cast photo doesn’t do her justice. The series of pictures Victoria P. shared shows her cast photo as well as a few behind-the-scenes shots of her preparing for the photo shoot. Her fellow castmate Victoria Fuller commented, “I prefer the 2nd photo tbh.”
As part of the new Bachelor in Paradise cast, Victoria P. was obviously going to have an official picture, like the rest of her castmates, but ABC really did a number on her with their photo filter. Women in particular are often excessively Photoshopped when there’s absolutely no reason to do so. Victoria P., like many in Bachelor Nation, is in no need of that level of digital alteration, and viewers will surely have proof of that when they see her on their screens this summer.
Bachelor In Paradise premieres Aug. 16 on ABC.
