Just because Chris Hemsworth plays a superhero on the big screen doesn’t mean his kids are as impressed as Marvel fans.
The Thor star posted a photo on Instagram Tuesday as he held the hand of his son Tristan as he walked.
Taking my little man’s hand and asking him the old question: ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?’ ‘Dad, I want to be Superman.’ Luckily I have two other children, he joked in the caption.
Aquaman actor Jason Momoa mocked Hemsworth’s son saying he wanted to be Superman and commented that his own son Nakoa-Wolf Momoa, 12, said he wanted to be Batman.
His famous friends and family not only responded to what Hemsworth said, they poked fun at the physical transformation of the film’s hero. While Hemsworth’s upper body seemed ready to play the role of the mythical muscular Thor, commentators, including his own brother, pointed to his legs and flooded the comments questioning if he had skipped the day of the legs.
Brother?! Have you been jumping leg days again ?! Luke Hemsworth commented below the photo.
Hemsworth said in an Australia Men’s Health magazine interview published in February that his body shuts down when he’s not exercising.
I just don’t feel good. I like it for a couple of days. It hurts and there is inflammation, my back is stiff. I am well aware that in order to live healthier and happier, I have to keep moving, he said.
Hemsworth is filming Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth film about his character in the Marvel Universe, which will be released next February.
