Cowboys Player Sean Lee retires from NFL after seasons 11

In December, Shan Lee joked about the questions.

I think you tried to get me out of here several times, the Cowboys defender asked a reporter on December 23rd if this season would be the final season.

Actually, Lee confirmed in her retirement letter on Monday. Cowage retires in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft after 11 seasons. ESPN’s Todd Archer broke the news first.

Lee wrote in his letter that I had the opportunity to wear the Cowboy star in season 11. We want to play forever. But today it’s time to go.

Lee ended his career with 602 steals, interceptions for losses, 14 interceptions, two forced steals and four fractures in 118 career matches. He started 92 matches and they all made him the drafting team.

But injuries ranging from a torn ACL to annoying hamstring to 2020 core muscle surgery have harmed Lee’s career. After playing all 16 games in 2019, he chose to return in 2020. Lee was rarely allowed to approach because of his health.

Lee said he was also bowing to the decision on December 23, the previous season.

But the problem is, whenever I get on the field and I start playing and you play a lot of games, Lee said before the last NFL game, “Well, I really like that.” This is my problem: I love this game very much. I love this organization. And I love to play and I love to play position, defender.

I joke that I am sometimes addicted to my wife.

According to Pro Football References, Lee recorded a game in three different seasons that included 18 combined challenges that no other Cowboy defender could identify.

Whenever I was near a field, when I first started playing, pulled my helmet and tried those shoulder pads, the scent would bring me back, Lee wrote.

Borough defenders Jelon Smith and Leighton Vander Esch are back and head coach Mike McCarthy says hybrid defender Keenu Neal has signed a deal with the defender room. Former Falcons coach Dan Quinn replaced Mike Nolan as the Cowboys’ defense coordinator.

While Smith’s 154 tackles have historically doubled from the second most prolific player in the historically bad Cowboys defense in 2020, its consistency has declined since the best season of 2011’s career. Vander Sch was mostly productive while on the field but struggled with neck and spinal cord injuries. The cowboys have yet to decide whether they can implement the fifth-year option.

With Lee’s retirement, the Cowboys’ defender lost an actor who made the regular actors around his movie work better. Healthy or injured, Lee said he was proud that the Cowboys were able to urgently chase the win with his teammates.
