ELC Semi-finals: AFC Bournemouth vs Brentford live stream Kick off time, team news

Brentford are just three games away from their opening Premier League season, but they face a monument to beat Bournemouth two games away in this week’s play-off semi-final.

The Bee Championship is 10 points ahead of sixth-placed Bournemouth in the regular season, but they were here before headaches after losing 2-1 to Fulham in extra time at Wembley in last summer’s play-off final.

Chief Thomas Frank has seen his forces recover from that defeat and has come within four points of achieving automatic promotion this season. Also, Brentford look forward to a second Wembley showdown after losing to Bournemouth this season.

Our prediction: Bournemouth vs. Brentford

The team returning to this clash is undoubtedly Brentford, who have won the last four matches and have remained unbeaten since the beginning of March.

Their superiority was shown to win and Bournemouth are away this season, but don’t leave Cherry for now.

After all, their recent inconsistencies imply that the men’s surprise semifinal win cannot be denied. Both sides are likely to draw in this first leg and so the game could be over.
