Actress Gal Gadot said she “took care of it” when Justice League director Joss Whedon took offense with her while filming the 2017 film, according to a remark she made on Saturday to Israeli N12.
Whedon was criticized for months after several actors in his projects, including Justice League, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, accused the once red-hot director of mistreating and creating a toxic work environment.
“He kind of threatened my career and said that if I did something, he would ruin my career, and instead I just took care of it,” Gadot said during an interview Saturday.
Gadot has in the past befriended Justice League co-star Ray Fisher, who accused Whedon of being “rude” and “inappropriate” during filming.
“I had problems with [Whedon] and Warner Bros. resolved them in a timely manner, ”Gadot said in a previous statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
