The Legiana is a powerful creature to add to the player’s roster in Monster Hunter Stories 2. This guide will show players how they can locate and obtain it. Monster Hunter Stories 2 allows players to build their own parties of monsters out in the world similar to the Pokemon series. Players will use their abilities to take on other monsters during difficult battles. Since this is turn-based rather than the real-time action of the mainline series, players can invest their resources into their favorite monsters to make them stronger. The Legiana is one of the best monsters available in the game but it can be difficult to know where to encounter them. Players begin their adventures with a Ratha egg that allows the player to fly once they reach a certain point. Legiana can also fill this role properly if the hunter’s starter monster isn’t working out. Here is where players can find a Legiana.
In order to unlock the Legiana, the player will need to beat the game. There will be a story mission in the third region of the game that features the Legiana as a boss fight. Once this mission is completed, the Legiana will begin to appear in other locations out in the overworld. This guide will show players where they can find it.
How To Get Legiana in Monster Hunter Stories 2
The Legiana will begin to spawn in two different locations in the world.
- Lavina Glacial Peaks in Loloska: After completing that mission, players will have the chance to encounter it out in the wild. Fast travel to the Catavan Stand and walk up the path to the center part of the snowy peaks. When exploring that path, the player might have a chance to find Legiana walking around the area.
- Rare Monster Dens: This is also located in the Lavina Glacial Peaks. Head inside and see if the player can find a Legiana or one of its eggs in the area.
If players are unable to find the Legiana in any of these locations, they can change their time zones and warp back to the Catavan Stand to reset all the monster’s spawn rates in the area. Players will need to repeat this process until it appears. Once it does, make sure to use a Paintball to get it to retreat. After a few attempts, players will be able to collect their own Legiana egg and raise it to soar in the skies.
Monster Hunter Stories 2 is available now on Nintendo Switch.
