LSU vs. Florida State beach volleyball video highlights, score at 2022 NCAA Championship

The Florida State and LSU women’s beach volleyball teams meet in an elimination match at the 2022 NCAA Championship Tournament on Saturday, May 7.

FSU defeated LSU 3-1.

FSU won No. 1 pairs 21-17, 21-10. FSU won No. 4 pairs 21-16, 21-12. LSU won No. 3 pairs 17-21, 24-22, 15-10. FSU won No. 2 pairs 27-25, 15-21, 15-9.

LSU and FSU went to the third set in No. 5 pairs.

No. 6-seeded LSU ended the season 32-12 overall. No. 5 seed Florida State improved to 31-10 overall.

FSU advances to face Loyola Marymount in the Final Four at 5 p.m. CT on Saturday.

Florida State’s Raelyn White and Caitlin Moon won the second set at No. 5 pairs vs. LSU 26-24. That came after LSU won the first set 21-16.

Florida State’s Maddie Anderson and Brook Bauer defeated LSU 21-17, 2-10 at No. 1 pairs.

De La Salle played true to form and steamrolled Adamson, 25-21, 25-20, 25-14, in the UAAP Season 84 women’s volleyball tournament Saturday at Mall of Asia Arena.

Rookie Leiah Malaluan proved she was no fluke as she and Jolina dela Cruz anchored La Salle’s show of force with 12 points apiece.

Malaluan’s solid outing came just two days after her rousing debut in Thursday’s opener.

“We started slow again and Adamson showed what they can do in the offense so we got challenged, even the blocking,” said assistant coach Benson Bocboc, who stepped in once again for head coach Ramil de Jesus in the post-game presser.

Dela Cruz scored all of her points off attacks while also posting 11 excellent digs.

Flaunting a vaunted defense, the Lady Spikers stifled the Lady Falcons with nine block points to none.

La Salle climbed to 2-0 after it dispatched rival and defending champion Ateneo in four sets to kick off its campaign.
