Austin, a popular 6th Street entertainment district in Texas, had a mass shooting scene Saturday morning. Police say 13 people were injured and the alleged shooter is not in custody.
Austin Police Chief Joseph Chacon said two of the injured were in critical condition.
The shooting took place around 10:30 am on Friday. Next to Calle 6, which has numerous bars, restaurants and nightclubs in a town that is directly advertised as the capital of music. Roadblocks were closed on the roads to stop traffic.
There was no immediate information on what happened or what caused the shooting.

Chacón said some of the shooting victims were taken to the hospital on a police patrol.
Chacón said the shooter’s description was not very detailed, but said the man was believed to be a man. Chacón said investigators are reviewing surveillance video and other evidence from the area.
Downtown Austin is slowly returning to full power after the epidemic.
