Ramona Singer and Eboni K. Williams were spotted out together in the Big Apple, even amid The Real Housewives of New York cast’s recent tension. Bravo fans have been left on edge as they ponder who may be cut from the cast in a reported shakeup.
In the past weeks, rumors have circulated that the Singer Stinger may be getting the ax by the network. Sources have claimed that her personality and outbursts no longer fit the new premise of the show. Singer is also the last remaining OG with a pretty substantial paycheck; frankly, she is costing Bravo an arm and a leg. But the 64-year-old took to her Instagram to share that the rumors were nonsense. The Real Housewives of New York fans aren’t holding their breath as it was also reported that Leah McSweeney and Williams could also see the ax.
Page Six shared some exclusive details after Williams and Singer were caught out at dinner together, looking to put aside their differences. The housewives ate at Avra Madison near Central Park on July 27, with a source telling the outlet the women were “sharing conversation, cocktails, dinner and lots of laughs.” The girl’s night came right after it was leaked that Singer was nervous that Williams would paint her as a racist after the last season.
Season 13’s reunion is also on hold due to behind-the-scenes cast issues and has yet to be taped. Throughout the whole season, Williams tried her best to school the women in everything social, but most of her political stances fell on deaf ears. Singer had a rough season per usual, which started with Williams overhearing Singer call her housekeeper “the help.” Most recently, Singer jumped up on a dinner table in hopes of deterring the politically infused conversation while in Massachusetts. Singer, along with Luann de Lesseps, felt Williams was preachy.
For the first few weeks, The Real Housewives of New York’s ratings were in the dumps, with fans blaming the first Black cast member for poor viewership. But Williams stood firm and denied she was the issue. Williams has been a breath of fresh air, and many Bravo viewers hope to see her return for her sophomore season. Bravo has yet to announce when the women of the Big Apple will meet up on the reunion couch. Sources have revealed that the taping has been pushed all the way back to September.
