Star Wars: The Bad Batch has revealed that Omega is an unaltered clone of bounty hunter Jango Fett, the same as his son, Boba Fett, or “Alpha” as the Kaminoans call him. This connects Omega to one of the most critical legacies in all of Star Wars lore and may mean she will appear in places beyond the animated series. The only question is where.
Boba Fett and the Mandalorians are both major pieces of current Star Wars content, possibly suggesting there is a grand plan involving them all that Omega is part of. Even if there isn’t, there are a number of places that Omega could show up in both animation and live-action that will flesh out her intriguing story.
10 The Book of Boba Fett
The most obvious place for Omega to appear in live-action is The Book Of Boba Fett. Given her brother is about to be the subject of his own series for the first time, his relationship not just to his father but his sister are likely to be examined.
On top of that, Fennec Shand will play a key role in the upcoming series, and she does have a strong connection to Omega in just a few episodes of The Bad Batch. Could she be the link between Alpha and Omega? With all that in mind, Omega is a character who could possibly appear in The Book Of Boba Fett.
9 Obi-Wan Kenobi
While Omega’s ultimate fate isn’t known, if she survives into the era of The Book Of Boba Fett, she will be available to appear in a lot of upcoming content, including the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
Obi-Wan Kenobi will take place about nine years before A New Hope, roughly nine years after The Bad Batch. An adult Omega could appear in the series in some capacity if her path eventually leads her and Clone Force 99 into working more closely with the nascent rebellion. Given Rex’s hope the team does, it’s a possibility.
8 Star Wars: Rebels Era Stories
Star Wars: Rebels may be over, but that doesn’t mean that stories involving the characters can’t appear in future animation, live-action, or in novels or comics. If so, then fans could see Omega interacting with the crew of the Ghost. The connections here are strong.
Omega has a direct link with Captain Rex through Clone Force 99, and it’s very possible that the Bad Batch eventually integrates into the larger rebellion as time goes on. Kanan Jarrus (as Caleb Dume) also appeared in the prologue of the series, a retcon connecting him to The Bad Batch.
7 Clone Wars Era Stories
It’s also possible that fans get to see Omega before she became part of Clone Force 99 by returning to the Clone Wars era. While her exact age is unknown, it’s understood she’s the same age as Boba Fett, making her around eight or nine years old at the time of The Bad Batch.
So far as fans know, Omega worked as a medical assistant to Nala Se on Kamino, but there could be other things she was involved in. Some of the best episodes of the Clone Wars animated series were prequels of other stories, making this very possible.
If Clone Force 99 does become part of the Rebellion, then another series Omega could appear in as the upcoming Andor series. Since it seems to take place roughly the same time as the Obi-Wan series, Omega could appear in both. While there are pros and cons for Obi-Wan appearing in Andor, Omega makes a lot of sense.
Cassian Andor inhabits the darker side of the rebellion, and Omega will certainly have a lot of experience with the cruel reality of surviving the Empire by the team she meets up with Cassian. She is also someone who is likely to be working in or has knowledge of the criminal underworld which Cassian may crossover with.
5 The Mandalorian
It’s very possible that Omega appears in The Mandalorian if she does in The Book Of Boba Fett. Omega could actually end up being very important in the story, given the themes of The Bad Batch echo those of the live-action series.
Omega has a mysterious past and connection to clones like Grogu, and she’s also a member of a found family. She could potentially play a role in the evolution of Din Djarin as he goes forward without Grogu. Will Din go back for Grogu? Or will events bring them all back together?
It is equally possible that Omega will appear in the Ahsoka series. Though that story is firmly fixed on exploring what happened to Ezra Bridger, Omega could potentially play a role.
Fans don’t know where her story is going yet, but it could ultimately involve the Unknown Regions and the scary things hidden there, like the Chiss Ascendency. If Omega’s journey doesn’t take her further into the rebel alliance but into a life of isolation out in the fringes of the known galaxy, she could easily encounter Ahsoka on her journey.
3 Solo 2
If a sequel movie or streaming series is made for Solo: A Star Wars Story, Omega could play a role. Given that Han Solo has an early encounter with elements of the growing rebellion at the end of the first movie and an eventual run-in with Boba Fett, Omega could end up playing a part.
Omega’s story could take her further into the criminal underworld embodied in Cid, the member of the Guild handing Clone Force 99 jobs. If so, Omega could potentially emerge with a connection to Qi’ra and Crimson Dawn.
2 The Climactic Event
Lucasfilm announced many streaming series set in the era of The Mandalorian with the idea that they will build to a ‘climactic event.’ The series lays a lot of groundwork for its spinoffs and this eventual climax and Omega may play a role in it.
Should the climax involve the retaking of Mandalore, then it’s easy to see Omega, Boba Fett, and Din Djarin all participating in this major battle. it’s also easy to see how they could all end up on different sides, heightening the drama and tension in the final equation.
1 Her Own Series
Fans could also imagine Omega at the center of her own series if she continues to be both popular and essential to the lore of the series. The only question is when it would take place.
Since her life conceivably spans the entire history of live-action Star Wars from the prequels to the sequels, it depends entirely on what kind of story is being told. If it involves her brother, the most likely scenario will see her series set around the same time as The Book Of Boba Fett. Other possibilities exist, though, and anything is possible with this new, intriguing character.
